POSITION SUMMARY:
The Nurse Manager of Critical Care Services will be overseeing the 4 critical care units: CCU, Neuro ICU, SICU, and ICU.
Twenty-four-hour accountability for planning, directing, leading, and evaluating nursing care within the assigned department. Prepares requests for the fiscal year's budget and is accountable for achieving the department's budgetary goals.
Interact closely with other facility staff and Department Heads to ensure safety, quality patient care is provided in accordance with corporate, facility and unit standards. Participates in committees, task forces as assigned. Formulates, reviews and assists in the revision of policies and procedures.
POSITIONQUALIFICATIONS:
- Current Florida RN License.
- Holds current BLS card. Holds current ACLS card.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Advanced knowledge of cardiac arrhythmias.
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience in acute care facility.
- Previous management experience preferred.
- Effective oral and written communication skills in the English language.
- Excellent physical assessment and critical thinking skills.
