About the Role
Brophy Air is seeking an experienced and dependable Chiller Technician to join our growing team in Miami, FL. We are looking for a skilled HVAC professional with strong experience servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial and industrial mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with chillers, boilers, cooling towers, water pumps, VFDs, and related equipment.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial chillers
- Service boilers, cooling towers, pumps, and VFD systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and emergency service calls
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical HVAC system issues
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Maintain accurate service documentation and communicate findings with customers and management
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with local codes and company standards
- Provide excellent customer service while working on-site at client locations

Requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience working on commercial/industrial HVAC systems
- Strong knowledge of:
- Chillers
- Boilers
- Cooling towers
- Water pumps
- VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives)
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
- EPA Certification required
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- Must be reliable, professional, and safety-focused
