Fire Suppression Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform service and repairs on Portable Fire Extinguishers, Kitchen Hood Systems & Suppression Gas Systems, and other building system products at customer sites.
• Service, troubleshoot and install equipment from various manufacturers, including Simplex and ANSUL.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics, and operational product manuals.
• Manage daily service calls, customer activity, and program system products.
• Assist customers with all questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation for emergency service.
• Perform inspections of Suppression Gas Systems based on contract requirements.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Outstanding customer‑facing service and problem‑solving skills.
• PC skills including Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.

• Manufacturer certifications (e.g., ANSUL, Kiddie Pyro Chem).

Hiring hourly range: $17‑$23 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
