Position: Dairy Commodity Trader EU
Working hours: Full-time (40 hrs/week)
Location: Dordrecht
Bdairy be legendaryYou will manage existing and new trade and sales opportunities for multiple countries and provide the best possible services to your suppliers and customers. You will do this by actively building and leveraging your network. You will develop new relationships with customers (agents, importers, and end users) and suppliers (dairy producers and brokers). Furthermore:
- Negotiate and conclude contracts. Follow up on these contracts in close cooperation with your colleagues in the Logistics and Quality departments. Also responsible for minimizing risks.
- Build and maintain a good information network and keep abreast of developments in the market. Identify opportunities and respond to them accordingly.
- Actively contribute to the commercial activities within the sales team through the intensive exchange of market intelligence and financial information.
- Have the freedom to schedule your work based on where you see the most commercial opportunities.
You will be well guided, and learn all the ins and outs of international trade and logistics, but we also expect independence and initiative.
Do you have the right ingredients?- Internationally oriented and ready for adventure. Seize opportunities within the highly volatile market with both hands. Excel in creativity, have a strong customer-oriented vision, and have the ability to achieve a lot of business in a short time.
- Completed Bachelor’s Degree in an economic or market-oriented field such as (International) Business Administration, International (Agriculture) Trade.
- Preferably already have +2 years (international) commercial experience (e.g. as a Seller, Trader, Export Manager, or Account Manager).
- Excellent knowledge of English and Dutch. French or Polish speaking is a big plus.
- Open to traveling and meeting with clients; have excellent communication skills.
- Valid EU work permit.
