The Role

As a Reception Supervisor youll play a key role in leading our Reception team and ensuring every guest receives a warm memorable and seamless experience from arrival to departure.

Youll support the day-to-day running of Reception leading by example and helping the team deliver exceptional service with confidence and personality. Whether youre welcoming guests supporting your colleagues during a busy check-in or resolving a guest concern youll be there to keep everything running smoothly.

Youll also work closely with the Reception Manager and wider hotel team to maintain our high standards develop our people and bring a little Wonderfully Wotton magic to every guest interaction.

What Youll Be Doing

• Supervising the day-to-day operation of Reception ensuring smooth and efficient shifts

• Leading motivating and supporting the Reception team to deliver exceptional guest experiences

• Welcoming guests and overseeing seamless check-ins and check-outs

• Handling guest enquiries feedback and complaints professionally finding positive solutions

• Supporting with team training development and maintaining service standards

• Ensuring reservations payments billing and Reception administration are completed accurately

• Managing shift handovers and ensuring clear communication across the team

• Working closely with Housekeeping Food & Beverage and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience

• Supporting the Reception Manager with daily operations team performance and continuous improvements

• Leading by example and bringing our Wonderfully Wotton personality and service standards to every interaction

Could This Be You

Were looking for someone who is confident approachable and passionate about delivering exceptional hospitality with a natural ability to lead and inspire others.

Youll have excellent communication and organisational skills strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm and solutions-focused in a busy hotel environment. Youll be comfortable taking ownership making decisions and supporting your team to deliver their best.

Previous hospitality experience is essential ideally within a hotel Reception or Front Office environment. Previous supervisory or team-leading experience would be an advantage but were equally interested in individuals who are ready to take the next step in their hospitality career.

Youll understand the importance of creating memorable guest experiences while ensuring the smooth running of daily operations.

Experience using Opera would be an advantage alongside a proactive attitude and a genuine passion for developing others.

Youll also need to be comfortable working a variety of shifts including evenings weekends and bank holidays.
