Established in Dornoch in 1972, JMC Highland is one of the oldest and most respected electrical contractors, solar panel and battery storage installers in the Scottish Highlands. Due to continued growth, we’re looking to add a few good people to the team. We’re now one of the fastest growing renewables installers in the Northern Highlands, and most of our work is focused on solar PV, battery storage and electrical contracting.

This is a brilliant opportunity to learn a trade while also getting hands-on experience with solar and battery systems — with full support and training provided.

• 2x apprentices starting their 1st year
• 1x apprentice ideally in 3rd/4th year

• Be able to get to Dornoch for 7:30am
• Be reliable, keen to learn, and take pride in your work
• Have a driving licence, or be working towards one within the next 12 months

• Experience or willingness to learn Electrical Work, Maintenance & Repair
• Ability to identify and resolve issues through Troubleshooting
• Strong motivation to work in renewable energy and sustainable projects
• Excellent problem-solving and teamwork capabilities
