We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fostering Kinship Social Worker to join a dedicated fostering team in Dorset. This is a rewarding opportunity to support kinship carers and connected persons to provide safe, stable homes for children and young people.

You will play a key role in assessing, supervising, and supporting kinship foster carers, ensuring that children remain within their family networks wherever possible.

• Undertake comprehensive kinship and connected persons assessments (including viability assessments)
• Complete Form C assessments in line with fostering regulations
• Provide supervision and ongoing support to approved kinship carers
• Contribute to care planning and permanency planning
• Attend fostering panels and relevant multi-agency meetings
• Ensure safeguarding standards and statutory requirements are met
• Maintain accurate, timely case recordings and reports
