Apprentice Electrician

• Salary: £17,702 plus additional benefits.
• Hours: 39 hours per week.
• Field-based: Across Magna Dorset region.
• Commute: Recommended residence within 30 miles of DT1 2PJ
  for daily site attendance.
• Apprenticeship Duration: 48 months (Course - Level
  3).

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Electrician to join our team of dedicated professionals. As an Apprentice Electrician at Magna, you will work under the supervision of experienced electricians, acquiring hands‑on experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, while developing a comprehensive range of skills.

• Installation: Install electrical services such as lighting and socket circuits, full domestic rewires, emergency lighting, and heating systems.
• Repairs: Carry out day‑to‑day repairs, including fault finding and troubleshooting electrical issues.
• Inspection and Testing: Inspect and test electrical installations, ensuring they meet safety and compliance standards, and complete relevant certification.
• College Training: Attend a day‑release programme at a local college to enhance theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
• Safety Training: Train in a safe environment adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Relationship Building: Develop strong working relationships within a supportive network to build confidence and skills.

• Ability to communicate professionally, follow direction and be eager to learn.
• Self‑driven, with excellent time‑keeping and attendance.
• GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths, at C/4 grade or above.
