We’re expanding and looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our Client Advisory Services team. If you thrive in a structured environment, enjoy working with small businesses, and love keeping numbers clean and accurate, this is for you!
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate financial records for multiple client accounts.
- Record and categorize daily transactions (sales, expenses, payroll, etc.) in Quick Books Online and other accounting systems.
- Reconcile bank, credit card, and loan accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare month-end close deliverables, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Manage payroll processing for clients, including data entry, payroll runs, and adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
- Process payroll tax filings and payments on behalf of clients (quarterly and annually).
- Track employee time, PTO, and benefits where applicable.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable tracking.
- Collaborate with CAS team and senior accountants to ensure timely reporting and compliance.
- Provide support for year-end tax preparation and audits.
- Maintain client files in accordance with firm standards (digital binder system).
- Required:
- 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in Quick Books Online
. - Payroll processing experience (ADP, QBO Payroll, or Accounting CS).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP basics and double-entry accounting.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts with accuracy and efficiency.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Preferred:
- Experience working in a public accounting firm.
- Familiarity with payroll tax compliance and multi-state payroll.
- Experience with CAS or outsourced CFO services.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Strong communication skills with clients and colleagues.
- Comfortable working with deadlines and managing multiple priorities.
- Proactive and solution-oriented approach to client needs.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new accounting tools and firm software.

Compensation: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
