Operate excavator on road construction projects;
Oil, grease, service and perform normal operating adjustments to equipment;
Understand paving industry aspects including grades, drainage, paving patterns, aggregate size, job specifications, oil consistencies, compaction;
Maintain the equipment and perform minor servicing; refer major problems to supervisor;
Perform related duties such as shovel work, setting string line, adding or removing screed extensions
