Overview

APAC-AL, Inc., part of CRH's South Central Division, is a leading supplier of quality asphalt and construction services in the southeastern United States. Our operations in Alabama include paving highways and delivering high‑quality construction materials.

• Operate heavy Road Construction equipment including motor grader, bulldozer, excavator, front end loader, and other equipment.
• Conduct routine oiling, greasing, and basic servicing or maintenance of equipment and report major problems to the supervisor.
• Apply knowledge of paving industry processes: preparation, grading, drainage, paving patterns, aggregate sizing, job specifications, oil consistencies, compaction and other details related to asphalt paving.
• Perform related tasks such as shovel work, setting string line, and adding or removing screed extensions.
• Follow all safety and operating procedures and maintain equipment in an efficient working condition.

• Minimum of three years of experience operating heavy construction equipment.
• Preferable experience on road construction projects.
• Strong understanding of asphalt paving operations and safety procedures.
