Customer Service Representative

If you have a passion for customer service, we have a spot for you! Martin Environmental Services is looking for a goal oriented, customer focused Customer Service Representative to provide support to our customers.

• Receive incoming calls and/or messages from customers and assist each customer from beginning to solution.
• Communicate effectively and clearly.
• Serve as customer advocate by solving problems and engaging the appropriate departments and people within the organization as needed.
• Utilize the authorized system to gather information, provide information, and update customer records.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by performing and communicating in a manner that promotes good relationships with all employees, co‑workers, and management.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Excellent verbal, written, and analytical skills.
• Computer skills – navigation, MS Office, typing, multi‑screen system.
• Professional and polite phone etiquette.
• Ability to multi‑task.
• Ability to react well under pressure.
• Focuses on solving conflicts and listening to others without interrupting.
• Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations and respond promptly and appropriately to meet company standards.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of prior work experience handling customer service via telephone.

• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must successfully complete pre‑employment testing.
• Must be able to read and speak the English language well enough to communicate, understand, and respond to questions, directions, traffic signs, signals and training.
• Must be able to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.

• Office environment.
• Prolonged sitting and repetitive motions while answering phone and working on computer.
