Customer Service Representative

We are looking for a customer service representative for daily operations at a storage facility. Your role is to create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensure high levels of organizational effectiveness, and maintain communication and safety. Duties and responsibilities include executing rentals; collecting payments; assisting the manager with collections on accounts; maintaining tenant files; assisting the manager with lien processes;

executing truck rentals; and assisting the office manager. Previous experience in customer service is a plus. Previous experience in storage or in a rental/leasing environment is an advantage. Microsoft Office experience required, as well as the ability to adapt to use of new software.

• Serve as a point of contact for tenants including executing rentals, payment collections, move outs, providing assistance.
• Maintain the office to be clean and presentable to all tenants and prospective tenants.
• Report to the Office Manager
• Provide general support to visitors
• Other duties as necessary.

• Prior experience in customer service or as an Administrative assistant is a plus. Experience in Storage or in a rental/leasing environment is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular)
• Hands on experience with office machines (e.g. fax machines and printers)
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
• Attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
• High School degree or equivalent required, additional education is a plus.
