Procurement​/Purchasing Manager

TCS Building Automation Systems is seeking a detail-oriented, organized professional to manage procurement activities in our building automation controls manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will ensure the timely acquisition of components, raw materials, and equipment while supporting financial accuracy and compliance. Prior experience in a manufacturing or technical setting is highly valued.

• Supplier Management: Source, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers of electrical components (such as integrated circuit components), instrumentation, and industrial materials.
• Engineering Liaison: Partner closely with the Hardware Engineering department to review technical specifications and ensure all sourced components are fully compatible with current and future product designs.
• Order Tracking: Prepare, issue, and track purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery and alignment with production schedules.
• Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels and initiate reorders to prevent production delays.
• Vendor Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms with vendors to optimize cost and reliability.
• Requisition Review: Review and execute internal requisition orders.
• Recordkeeping: Maintain purchasing files, price lists, and procurement records.

• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical and integrated circuitry components, with specific knowledge of relays and printed circuit boards (PCBs).
