About the Position
Urologist – Full-Time Position in Dothan, Alabama

VHS is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Urologist to join a well-established private multi-specialty group in Dothan, Alabama. This is an excellent opportunity for a board-eligible or board-certified Urologist looking to advance their career in a thriving community with a supportive team environment.

Position Overview:

Join a dynamic team of five experienced Urologists and two Nurse Practitioners

Provide comprehensive general urology services, including diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of urological conditions

Serve a diverse patient population in a busy, high-volume practice

Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Share weekend call responsibilities on a 1-in-6 rotation

Utilize in-office lab services to streamline patient care

Key Responsibilities:

Perform outpatient consultations, outpatient and inpatient procedures, and follow-up care

Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain optimal patient satisfaction

Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

Board certification or eligibility in Urology

Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team

Excellent communication and patient-focused care skills

Active Alabama medical license or the ability to obtain one

Compensation and Benefits:

Competitive starting salary with potential for $25,000 to $50,000 above initial benchmarks
