Neurologist Position at Southeast Health
Southeast Health, a 420 bed regional referral and Level II trauma center in Dothan, Alabama, is seeking a BC/BE general neurologist to join its Neurospine Center as a hospital employed physician. Physician will see patients in a hospital-based, Neuro Sciences outpatient clinic that is conveniently located on the hospital campus. Neurotesting is available in the clinic. Ideal candidate will possess subcertification in EMG/NCV or completion of neurology residency with 6 months dedicated to training in EMG/NCV.
Qualifications:- Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS)
- Eligibility to acquire an Alabama medical license
- Post graduate training or experience in EMG/NCV is highly preferred
- Outpatient only - no call, weekend, or holiday coverage required
- We offer interventional neuroradiology to treat a variety of conditions. Our Neurologists work collaboratively with the SEH Neurosurgeons, interventional Neuroradiologists and radiation Oncologists to provide a multidisciplinary approach to comprehensive care.
- Neurointerventionalists and Neurohospitalists practice with the Neuroscience team
- Stroke teleneurology is provided
- Neuromuscular Rehab & Balance Center is available
