Urologist Position

A growing healthcare organization in Southeast Alabama is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Urologist to join its multidisciplinary clinical team. This opportunity is open to experienced physicians as well as 2027 residency candidates. The physician will help lead and support all clinical aspects of the practice while delivering high-quality patient-centered care in an outpatient and hospital-based setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive urology care to adult patients
• Collaborate with clinic leadership on operational and clinical initiatives
• Support quality improvement efforts and patient care standardization
• Participate in strategic planning related to clinic growth, services, and patient outcomes
• Maintain strong working relationships with physicians, staff, and referring providers
• Assist with development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures
• Participate in medical staff committees and interdisciplinary care initiatives
• Monitor and support quality assurance and patient outcome programs
• Communicate effectively with leadership regarding clinical and operational matters

Schedule

• Full-time position
• Day shift schedule

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Urology
• Eligible for medical licensure in Alabama
• Ability to obtain medical staff privileges
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous clinical leadership or committee participation experience
• Interest in quality improvement and program development
• Strong organizational and relationship-building skills
