Family Medicine/Primary Care Preceptor Faculty Role
ALABAMA
Alabama College of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine is seeking a family medicine or internist physician to join the growing team. ACOM has a strong reputation for innovation in osteopathic medical education and a supportive academic environment. This role combines clinical practice, teaching, and service to support the departments mission and the training of the next generation of osteopathic physicians.
Position Highlights
:
- Mixture of outpatient patient care and teaching responsibilities.
- Minimal call responsibilities - phone call only.
- Supervise 3rd- and 4th-year osteopathic medical students during rural clinical rotations
- Participate in curriculum development, faculty committees, and student advising
- Contribute to faculty development, scholarly activity, and recruitment initiatives.
Compensation & Benefits
:
- Salary range commensurate with experience
- Signing Bonus and student loan repayment offered!
- Relocation Assistance: up to $20,000
- CME: $3,500 annually + 5 days
- Paid Time Off: 120 hours annually + sick leave + 10 paid holidays + 10 scheduled Dean's Day (days off).
