Full-Time Special Education Teacher in Birmingham, AL

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing for a full-time Special Education Teacher position in the Vestavia Hills area. This school-based role requires a dedicated professional with a bachelor's degree in education, a master's or doctoral degree in special education, and an active Special Education state teaching license. Experience working with special education students and their families is highly preferred.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in education.
Master's or doctoral degree in special education.
Active Special Education state teaching license.
Compliance with all local and state regulatory requirements.

Job Duties:

As a Special Education Teacher, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities.

Providing instruction tailored to the unique needs and abilities of each student.

Collaborating with parents, school staff, and related service providers to support student learning and progress.

Conducting assessments and monitoring student progress to ensure educational goals are met.

Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and success.
