Special Education Teacher (Augusta, GA)!
Are you a passionate educator dedicated to supporting students with special needs?
Richmond County Schools is seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher to join our team for the upcoming school year (July 29, 2024 - May 23, 2025).
In this role, you will:
- Provide individualized instruction and support to students with disabilities in a K-12 setting.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with parents and other professionals.
- Utilize effective teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of your students.
- We are particularly interested in candidates with experience working with students on the Autism Spectrum and those exhibiting behavioral challenges.
To be successful, you will:
- Hold a valid Georgia Special Education Teacher Certification.
- Possess a strong understanding of special education best practices.
- Be a patient, compassionate, and dedicated educator.
