Job Description Summary
Peer tutors play a vital role in supporting ACOM students through small group sessions, individual tutoring, and exam preparation. This is a great opportunity to strengthen your own understanding of course material while helping your peers succeed.
Essential Functions- Provide one‑on‑one and small group tutoring sessions for medical school students in subjects such as anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pharmacology, and clinical reasoning.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs, ensuring comprehension of complex concepts.
- Assist students in preparing for exams and practical assessments.
- Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to support academic growth.
- Collaborate with faculty to identify areas where students may need extra support.
- Must be in good standing with ACOM.
- Minimum GPA of 3.5.
- Must have earned at least an 86% average in the courses you are tutoring.
