Qualifications:
  • Valid Special Education Teaching Certification in Alabama (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher (elementary, middle, or high school preferred)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized instruction and support for students with special needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and administrators
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Track and report student progress, adapting plans as needed
  • Foster a positive, encouraging classroom environment
