Peer tutors play a vital role in supporting ACOM students through small group sessions, individual tutoring, and exam preparation. This is a great opportunity to strengthen your own understanding of course material while helping your peers succeed

Job Description

Essential Functions

* Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions for medical school students in subjects such as anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pharmacology, and clinical reasoning.

* Adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs, ensuring comprehension of complex concepts.

* Assist students in preparing for exams, practical assessments.

* Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to support academic growth.

* Collaborate with faculty to identify areas where students may need extra support.

Qualifications

Minimum Education Required

* Must be in good standing with ACOM

* Minimum GPA of 3.5

* Must have earned at least an 86% average in the courses you are tutoring
