Job Overview:Are you a dedicated Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher looking to make a meaningful impact on students' lives? Soliant is seeking a passionate and skilled School DHH Teacher to join our team in Tuscaloosa, AL area. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting students' academic and personal growth.

Job Description:As a School DHH Teacher with Soliant, you will:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
  • Provide direct instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
  • Utilize evidence-based strategies to promote student engagement and achievement.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to create inclusive learning environments.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assess students' abilities and develop appropriate instructional strategies.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress monitoring.
  • Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to acmodate diverse learning styles.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group instruction as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Deaf Education or related field.
  • Alabama State certification in Deaf Education.
  • Strong instructional and classroom management skills.
  • Excellent munication and collaboration abilities.
