About the RoleWe are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Teacher – Toddlers (2½–3 Year Old's) to join our early childhood education team. This role is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment that supports early learning and growth.
The ideal candidate is a confident classroom leader who enjoys working with toddlers and is committed to fostering independence, curiosity, and foundational learning skills
.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and learning activities for toddlers (2½–3 years old).
- Create a safe, structured, and engaging classroom environment
. - Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
. - Manage daily routines including meals, transitions, rest time, and classroom activities
. - Observe, document, and assess developmental milestones and progress
. - Communicate regularly with families regarding child development and classroom updates
. - Supervise and guide assistant teachers and support staff
. - Maintain compliance with licensing, health, and safety standards
.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required (Early Childhood Education coursework or degree preferred).
- Experience working with toddlers (2–3 years old) in a childcare or preschool setting required
. - Previous experience in a lead teacher or classroom leadership role preferred
. - Strong understanding of early childhood development and play-based learning
. - Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
.
- Experience designing toddler curriculum and learning activities
. - Strong classroom management and positive guidance techniques
. - Ability to build a warm, structured, and engaging learning environment
. - CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
