This position performs traffic engineering functions in the management of the city's transportation system.

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum one (1) year recent experience in traffic engineering practices and principles
• Certification as an Engineer Intern (EI)

• Possession of a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record
• Applicant subject to background investigations, including criminal, credit, past employment, and references
• Employees required to submit to drug and alcohol testing in accordance with City of Dothan policy, including pre‑employment and random tests during employment
• Must meet City of Dothan's employment physical standard, including drug/alcohol testing
