Tired of the same old routine? We're looking for a Process Engineer who thrives on owning complex systems from design to installation.
Job Description:
We are expanding our engineering team and looking for a driven Process Engineer to take ownership of custom equipment that supports our state-of-the-art isotope production facility. This is a unique opportunity to join a matrixed engineering organization where you will hit the ground running, leading systems and driving projects from initial design through final installation. Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of critical process systems, including off-gas processing, uranium handling, and waste processing.
- Prepare and issue comprehensive design packages, specifications, test plans, and calculations to ensure optimal system performance.
- Collaborate closely with equipment vendors to oversee procurement, factory acceptance tests (FATs), and site acceptance tests (SATs).
- Coordinate seamlessly with our Construction team to resolve field inquiries, perform site walk-downs, and inspect installed equipment.
- Provide mentorship and support to fellow engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and effective system turnover.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 8 years of relevant project experience in an engineering setting.
- Proven experience designing processes to achieve a desired output product from a set of input ingredients.
