Thermal Engineer – Early Career

• Support design, fabrication, and testing of thermal control hardware
• Assist with thermal analysis using hand calculations and analysis software
• Support integration and test activities for thermal hardware
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and test procedures
• Participate in design reviews and technical discussions
• Contribute to hardware assembly and testing efforts
• Learn and apply thermal engineering principles to spacecraft applications
• Support the development of thermal hardware and systems across Blue Origin programs

• B.S. degree in mechanical, aerospace, or related engineering discipline
• Will have earned the degree within the last year and be able to start by Fall 2027
• Coursework or project experience in thermodynamics, heat transfer, or fluid mechanics
• Familiarity with CAD software such as Creo, Solid Works, NX, or similar
• Basic understanding of engineering fundamentals and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
• U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident/current Green Card holder, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum

Demonstrates expertise in thermal engineering principles, including thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics, while effectively collaborating in team environments and producing technical documentation for thermal control hardware.
