Play--Play Broadcaster Announcer ( High School Football ) Eagles Nest Blasting watts

Eagle Sports Network is seeking dependable and enthusiastic broadcast talent for the upcoming high school football season. We're hiring individuals to serve as either a
Play-by-Play Announcer or
Color Commentator for our Alabama Area football broadcasts, covering Wadley, Randolph County, Handley, and Woodland High Schools
.

If you enjoy high school football, have strong communication skills, and are comfortable speaking live on the radio, we'd love to hear from you.

Pay

• $80 per game (per person)

Responsibilities

• Broadcast live high school football games as either the play-by-play announcer or color commentator.
• Arrive early to set up and test broadcast equipment before each game.
• Work closely with your broadcast partner and production team to ensure a smooth broadcast.
• Accurately describe game action, provide analysis and player information, and keep listeners informed throughout the game.
• Represent Eagle Sports Network professionally while interacting with coaches, school staff, and fans.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and public speaking skills.
• Knowledge of football and an understanding of the game's rules and strategy.
• Comfortable speaking live on-air.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to Friday night games throughout the season.
• Comfortable setting up and operating basic broadcast equipment.
• Previous sports broadcasting, announcing, journalism, or media experience is preferred but not required.
• A passion for local high school athletics is a plus.

Schedule

• Seasonal position (August through November)
• Friday evenings, with occasional playoff games if assigned.
• Must be available before kickoff for equipment setup and after the game for broadcast wrap-up.
