Environmental Enforcement Solid Waste Officer; Mobile

Job Description

This is responsible supervisory and administrative work in directing the activities of the Department of Environmental Enforcement for Mobile County. Starting salary is Mobile County $61,561.

• Graduation from a standard senior high school, or the successful completion of the General Educational Development (GED) test; a minimum of five years of responsible environmental or solid waste experience, including a minimum of three years' experience in a supervisory capacity (or equivalent education and experience).
• Must possess a valid driver's license from the state of residence.

• 10 days annual vacation with accumulation to 35 days (maximum of 25 days per year for 25 or more years of service)
