Job Overview
This is sub-professional and technical permitting work in reviewing construction plans and permit applications, and issuing residential and commercial development permits.
Jurisdictions and Salary Ranges- Mobile County: $48,091 - $76,882
- City of Mobile: $40,528 - $64,790
- City of Saraland: $44,658 - $71,394
Graduation from a standard senior high school, or successful completion of the General Educational Development (GED) test, preferably supplemented by college, trade or vocational school coursework in engineering, drafting, architecture or related field, and a minimum of three years of experience reading and interpreting construction, engineering, building or related plans; or a combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements.
SpecialRequirement
