Position: Therapist - Adult Outpatient Services
Location: Dothan, AL
This position will be located at our Adult Outpatient Services in Dothan, Al
Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
ALABAMA STATE RETIREMENT AVAILABLE
Responsibilities- Provide therapeutic services to clients of the system's substance abuse and mental illness units
- Employ various clinical and social treatment skills and approaches
- Provides clinical intakes, psychotherapy, documentation, coordination with agency services and response to emergency situations
- Travel may be required within the five county catchment area and/or statewide as needed
- Masters degree from an accredited college or university in Psychology, Social Work or related field
- Completion of a relevant clinical practicum
- Two years post masters experience preferred
- Must be willing to obtain AADA certification within 2 years of hire
- Licensure as an LCSW or LPC in the state of Alabama is preferred but not required
- good background check and MVR and a pre-employment drug screen
