Job Overview

Vibra Travels is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13‑week contract in Dothan, Alabama.

The role involves 40 hours per week on 8‑hour daytime shifts.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required
  • ARRT (VI) or (CV) certification preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Interventional Radiology experience in a hospital setting
  • Proficient in assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic IR procedures (e.g., angiograms, embolizations, stent placements)
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety, sterile technique, and image‑guided procedural protocols
  • Ability to work collaboratively with radiologists, nurses, and other clinical staff
  • Skilled in operating imaging equipment such as fluoroscopy, C‑arms, and CT‑guided systems
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask in high‑pressure environments
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
  • Free from illegal drug use and effects of alcohol in the workplace
  • State‑specific licensure to practice as a Radiology Tech required
  • BLS certification from a Vibra Travels approved vendor required
