Physical Therapist Technician

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Physical Therapist Technician to support our clinical team in delivering high-quality patient care. This role is ideal for individuals interested in healthcare who enjoy working in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
Essential Functions- Assist physical therapists with patient care under direct supervision
- Prepare treatment areas, equipment, and supplies for patient sessions
- Guide patients through prescribed exercises and therapeutic activities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic and equipment
- Monitor patients during exercises and report progress or concerns to the therapist
- Assist with patient flow, including escorting and positioning patients
- Perform basic administrative tasks such as scheduling, filing, and answering phones
- Ensure a positive and professional experience for all patients

CompetenciesThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The position walks, sits, stands, bends, lifts and moves continually during working hours. The position is subject to lifting objects weighing over 50 pounds, pushing wheel chairs, and transporting and supporting residents. The employee must be constantly alert for patient safety.
There will be a physical assessment performed at time of hire to ensure that you can safely meet these demands.
Expected to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Typically Monday through Thursday 7:50 to 5:00 and Friday 6:50 to 1:30 pm.
