Unit: 42-bed Cardio/Neurovascular Med-Surg/Telemetry

Shift: 36 or 48 hrs/week (block scheduling available; EOW required)
Contract Length: 13 weeks (ends on Tuesday)
Patient Ratio: 1:6 (high acuity)
Experience

Required:

1 2 years (must be strong with high-acuity patients)
Dysrhythmias experience required

Cardiac drips required (Cardizem, Tridil, Amiodarone)

Certifications:

BLS, ACLSLicensure:
Active AL or compact license (no pending; must be in good standing)
Additional :
Epic Compliance due 1 week prior to start

Flu & COVID vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
Scrubs:
All navy or navy bottoms/white : 3 5 days preferred; 7 days max per 13 weeks

Local candidates will not be accepted. Return Traveler Extension Policy Former permanent staff are not eligible for travel roles for 10 years following separation. After completing 2 consecutive contracts, travelers must take a 6-month break before returning. Exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Modules Pre-start modules required Modules are non-billable. 8+ hours of module time is not included in the bill rate.
