Transportation Specialist/Mental Health Worker/MAC Worker
Position Pay$12/hr to start
QualificationValid Driver's License, Insurable Driving Record, High School Diploma/GED required
Preferred ExperienceWork with mentally ill consumers
Duties and ResponsibilitiesPrimary job function will be to assist with transporting individuals to the surrounding psychiatric units utilizing an agency provided vehicle. When not transporting you will provide oversight to mentally ill consumers in a group home setting. Duties include meal preparation, medication monitoring, basic living skills training and monitoring consumer behavior. Cleaning duties of the kitchen and main group home area as well as assisting consumers with keeping rooms clean as needed.
Staff are required to successfully complete the medication assistance certification training provided on site to qualify for continued employment. Computer skills are required for making entries into the electronic health record and completion of the electronic MAR. The individual in the transport position will float onto other shifts as needed and directed by the program supervisor.
Position will typically be Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm unless covering other shifts as needed.
Position is full time and eligible for Agency benefits.
