Job Description:
This Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (LDRP) role offers a chance to be at the forefront of obstetric care, working with labor and antepartum patients including those with preterm labor and pregnancy complications like PIH. The night shift, operating from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM over a 13-week contract, involves caring for patients during a critical stage of childbirth, with a patient ratio of 1:2.
Your responsibilities will include continuous fetal monitoring, fetal scalp electrode placement, IV starts, assisting with amnioinfusions, and attending epidural placements and C-sections (without scrubbing). This assignment provides a focused, fast-paced environment where your expertise ensures safe, effective care during overnight hours, without float obligations.
