Registered Nurse

Community Living Alliance (CLA) is a community‑based nonprofit that provides services to people with disabilities and chronic illnesses. CLA is looking for individuals who have a passion for helping others by providing personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping to clients in their homes throughout Dane County.

The coordinator will manage the personal care needs of individuals with developmental disabilities, physical disabilities, and/or the elderly. Key duties include:

• Coordinate and manage personal care services in accordance with program policies and regulations.
• Conduct training and supervisory visits with Personal Care Workers.
• Communicate with key customers and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with agency policies and governmental regulations.

• Registered Nurse with current Wisconsin registration.
• Associate’s degree in nursing required;
  Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Three years of nursing and supervisory experience preferred.
• One year of experience in community‑based services required.
• Knowledge of and experience with individuals with developmental, physical, or elderly populations.
• Knowledge of safety concerns, OSHA standard precautions, competency assessment, and adult learning styles.
• Knowledge of nursing assessment and care‑plan writing.
• Knowledge of supervisory strategies for employee development.
• Knowledge of home and community‑based supportive care and personal care services.

Monday–Friday 8:30 am–4:30 pm. Availability required for early mornings, evenings, and weekends based on client needs.
