It's noticing when your client isn't quite acting like herself. Knowing how she likes her coffee. Making her laugh while you're getting breakfast ready. It's being someone she and her family know they can count on. That's the kind of caregiving we believe in at First Light.

We're growing in Dothan and looking for experienced caregivers who enjoy caring for people, take pride in doing a good job, and want to be part of a team that appreciates them.

• $ per hour
• Daytime opportunities: 7:00 AM7:00 PM
• Overnight opportunities: 7:00 PM7:00 AM
• Shifts generally range from 412 hours
• Every other weekend availability required

Caregivers with more open availability typically have the greatest opportunity to build consistent hours. Schedules are based on client needs and continuity of care.

Every client is different. Depending on who you're caring for, you may help with:

• Bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Meal preparation and feeding assistance
• Mobility and fall prevention
• Medication reminders
• Light housekeeping related to client care
• Transportation when needed
• Companionship and conversation

This is hands-on caregiving. Our clients need someone attentive, capable, kind, and comfortable helping with personal care when needed.

• At least 1 year of handson caregiving experience
• Dependable and committed to showing up for your clients
• Professional communication
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Comfortable working independently in clients' homes
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• Comfortable working in homes with pets
