Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days — Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Call: Every other weekend, 7:00 AM–12:00 PM
Pay Rate: $55.00 or more
- Licensure: State License as a General Radiographer or NMT
- BLS Certification (Basic Life Support)
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of recent Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
- Graduate of an accredited AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine program
- ARRT(N) or CNMT registry required
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) is responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine services to both inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and in accordance with departmental protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, administer, and document radiopharmaceuticals for imaging and therapeutic procedures
- Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging and processing equipment
- Perform quality control and ensure compliance with radiation safety standards
- Acquire and process diagnostic images for physician interpretation
- Maintain accurate patient and procedure records
- Provide patient care and education related to nuclear medicine procedures
