Position: Master Level Therapist - In Home Intervention-Geneva County

This position will be based out of our Geneva County Clinic in Geneva, Al Monday
- Friday 8am-5pm with flexible hours based on family and program needs

Alabama State Retirement Option Available POSITION SUMMARY/FUNCTION Responsible for management and supervision of all aspects of the In-Home Intervention program, including planning, organization, administration and supervision. Manages fiscal and budgetary affairs maintaining program at approved budget levels. Provides therapeutic services for IHI clients. Travel within the five-county catchment area may be required. Hours are Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm with flexible work hours based on family and program needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS/TASKS:
1. Manage the IHI program.

Ensure programs meet all specified guidelines including Spectra Care Personnel Policy, Spectracare Clinical Policy, including but not limited to the Alabama Administrative Code, CMS, and all other applicable regulating and contractual entities, notifying Director of deficiencies and a plan of action to correct.

Responsible for ensuring a high quality of care for IHI clients / caseload.

Ensure that all charts and other documentation are appropriate, meaningful, acceptable, accurate and completed in a timely manner.

Ensure that the program complies with fire and safety policies.

Ensure that the program description and daily schedule is accurate and complies with policies.

Responsible for incident reports and notifying Program Director of crisis situations.

Meets required productivity level of direct service time.
2. Provide services for families involved with the In Home Intervention (IHI) Project.

Responsible for evaluating referrals.

Assist with, and perform, interviews, planning service plan and providing therapeutic services to families.

Identify appropriate community service needs and determine appropriate community resources to meet those needs.

Coordinates involvement of client and family in development of the service plan.

Coordinate service delivery to families with appropriate agencies.

Assist with and performs crisis intervention and/or conflict resolution.

Serve as an advocate for the families.

Provide transportation only when a necessity, but do ensure all community resources such as family, friends, public transportation or special vehicles are utilized.
3. Assist with maintaining, and performs, designated documentation in client records in a professional manner and in accordance with all Policies and Procedures, including but not limited to Alabama Administrative Code, CMS, and all other applicable regulating and contractual entities.

Ensures all written documentation to include but not limited to Intakes, extensions, clericals, referrals, transfer/termination forms, patient information sheets, etc., completed accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with policies.

Case formulations completed accurately and timely according to Spectra Care policy and/or Alabama Administrative Code, etc.

IHI progress notes completed timely and written in a professional manner as required after service provided and addressees stated goals in accordance with policies and procedures.

Records on caseload staffed timely as required, revising service plan as needed and in accordance with policies.

Goals are appropriate, specific and the focus of treatment.

Ensures all client information is kept up to date.
4. Manage the financial aspects of the program.

Maintain the budget for the IHI program within set parameters, to include but not limited to program expenses, overtime, etc.
