WHAT YOU’LL DO
As an Associate on the Talent Acquisition team, you will serve as a proactive partner in hiring and talent operations, helping to drive efficient, equitable, and high-quality recruitment processes. You will collaborate with staff across the organization, anticipate needs, use sound judgment to navigate competing priorities, and help ensure candidates and hiring teams have a strong, well‑supported experience throughout the hiring process.
- Coordinate multiple, efficient hiring processes for both full‑ and part‑time positions, including job postings, interview scheduling and preparation, candidate communications, and data maintenance and reporting on individual searches, while prioritizing competing needs and keeping searches moving forward.
- Ensure candidates have a strong experience with TNTP’s hiring process by serving as their main point of contact, quickly responding to questions about TNTP, hiring processes, and expectations, and delivering clear, timely, and compelling communications that reflect our values and employer brand.
- Develop and deliver clear, timely, and audience‑aware communications to regular and contingent TNTP staff, ensuring staff have the information and resources they need in advance of conducting interviews, reviewing hiring exercises, and making offers.
- Support new hires as they transition to onboarding by preparing offer letters, coordinating background checks, requesting technology, and helping complete pre‑hire paperwork, as needed.
- Generate new ideas to improve processes and operations, proactively identifying inefficiencies, risks, and potential bottlenecks before they disrupt hiring timelines, and supporting projects that improve efficiency, quality, and candidate and hiring manager experience.
- Collaborate with other staff members to leverage social media, internet sourcing, referral sources, and other tools to identify qualified leads and build strong, diverse candidate pipelines for open roles.
- Support ongoing knowledge management for your team and broader department, including organizing information and leveraging technology and AI tools appropriately to improve efficiency, communication, and workflow management.
- Contribute to related Talent Acquisition priorities and team projects as needed, bringing flexibility, sound judgment, and a willingness to support evolving organizational needs.
We expect our Associates to operate with strategic awareness. You don’t just manage what’s in front of you. You hold context across multiple searches and stakeholders, anticipate what’s coming, and act before you’re asked. You understand the difference between urgent and important and help keep hiring work on track.
Multi‑task effectively. You are a natural prioritizer, enjoy learning new things, and work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment while managing multiple searches, deadlines, and stakeholders.
Be a self‑starter and a natural problem‑solver. You quickly identify challenges, think critically about root causes, and propose practical solutions. You anticipate hiring needs, take initiative, and help keep work moving so hiring managers and candidates are well supported throughout the process.
Sweat the details without losing the thread. You are a natural organizer who stays on top of details others may miss, managing many moving pieces across multiple searches and stakeholders while keeping the broader hiring process on track.
Communicate thoughtfully with precision and judgment. Your writing is clean, clear, and audience‑aware. You know when to be brief, when to add context, and when to flag something rather than handle it yourself. Whether sending a quick response or drafting a message for a larger group, you communicate with professionalism and sound judgment.
Build strong relationships. You take a customer service and partnership approach in your work. You build trust with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders through responsiveness, professionalism, discretion, and follow‑through, and you provide a high level of support throughout the hiring process.
