Ameri Bolt is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support our manufacturing operation in Sycamore, Alabama. This role will serve as a strategic partner to leadership while driving HR initiatives that improve employee attraction, retention, engagement, and development. A key focus of this position will be reducing employee turnover through effective workforce planning, leadership coaching, training initiatives, and proactive employee relations support.
The HRBP will help drive consistency in HR policies, practices, and employee experience across Ameri Bolt, Lone Star Fasteners, and Lone Star Sealing. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, is highly visible on the production floor, and has a proven ability to influence leaders, strengthen accountability, and support organizational change. This role will play an important part in helping the facility evolve from a more entrepreneurial operating style into a scalable, process-driven organization.
- Lead employee relations matters from intake through resolution.
- Conduct workplace investigations and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Partner with leaders to proactively address issues before they escalated.
- Advise management on performance, attendance, conduct, and policy matters.
- Support employee engagement and conflict resolution initiatives.
- Ensure consistent application of company policies and employment practices.
- Serve as the primary HR partner for site leadership and assigned business units.
- Coach leaders on employee performance, accountability, communication, and leadership effectiveness.
- Provide guidance on organizational and workforce challenges.
- Support organizational change and leadership development initiatives.
- Build trusted relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Partner with leaders on succession planning and workforce planning efforts.
- Support employee development and career progression initiatives.
- Identify high-potential talent and development opportunities.
- Develop strategies to improve employee retention and engagement.
- Support training initiatives that strengthen leadership capability and workforce effectiveness.
- Partner with hiring managers on recruitment strategies and staffing plans.
- Support hiring for professional, technical, and leadership positions.
- Participate in candidate assessments and interviews.
- Assist with onboarding and new hire integration.
- Analyze workforce trends and recommend practical business solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement of HR processes and programs.
- Support organizational design and workforce planning initiatives.
- Assist with implementation of company-wide HR initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Support leave administration and employee accommodation processes.
- Review HR metrics and reporting to identify trends and opportunities.
- Maintain consistency across multiple locations and business units.
- 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
- Experience serving as an HR Business Partner or senior HR leader.
- Demonstrated employee relations and investigation experience.
- Experience coaching managers and influencing leadership decisions.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Multi-site manufacturing, industrial, or distribution environment.
- Experience supporting geographically dispersed work forces.
- Experience driving organizational change and workforce planning initiatives.
- Experience working within private equity-backed organizations.
