About the Role
We are seeking an experienced IT professional to join our team as an IT Systems Administrator. This role is responsible for maintaining, securing, and optimizing our Microsoft 365 and Azure environments while providing advanced technical support across the organization. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, security‑focused, and comfortable supporting both cloud infrastructure and end‑user systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Entra (Azure AD), SharePoint, One Drive, and Teams
- Manage and maintain Azure resources such as virtual machines, networking, storage, and identity services
- Implement and monitor IT security best practices including MFA, conditional access, endpoint protection, patching, and security incident response
- Provide Tier 2/3 PC and end‑user support for Windows devices, peripherals, and productivity applications
- Manage device lifecycle through tools such as Intune, Autopilot, and endpoint configuration policies
- Monitor system performance and availability; troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues
- Assist with IT projects including migrations, upgrades, and security initiatives
- Document systems, procedures, and troubleshooting steps
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure reliable and secure IT services
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in IT systems administration or similar role
- Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 administration
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Azure (IaaS and PaaS preferred)
- Practical experience with IT security, including identity management, endpoint security, and threat mitigation
- Advanced troubleshooting skills for Windows PCs, laptops, and related hardware
- Experience with scripting (Power Shell preferred)
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls)
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with backup/disaster recovery solutions
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA, or similar)
- Experience supporting hybrid or cloud‑first environments
