Maintenance Supervisor

Currently, DASMEN Residential is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team.

Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in maintaining and repairing physical structures of buildings and grounds. Responsibilities include hands-on maintenance of the community, inspections, repairs, and general upkeep of apartments and surrounding areas. Acts as a team leader, delegating, supervising, and assisting maintenance staff. Installs and repairs electrical systems and components of machinery and equipment.

• Prepare apartments for market readiness, including painting, cleaning, repairs, and housekeeping.
• Perform preventative maintenance and document findings.
• Conduct regular community inspections.
• Respond to resident requests within 24 hours.
• Provide emergency on-call services as needed.
• Assist in maintaining grounds and communal areas, keeping them free of trash.
• Monitor mechanical equipment such as water heaters and HVAC units.

• Train and supervise maintenance staff, participate in hiring and performance reviews.
• Assist with monitoring capital projects.
• Ensure safety practices are followed.
• Comply with Fair Housing Laws.
• Maintain communication with property management and staff.
• Represent the company professionally.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least three years of hands-on maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, etc.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment.
• Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, auto insurance.
• EPA or CFC certification.
• Ability to write reports and speak effectively before groups.

• HVAC certification, CAMT license.
