Excavation Operations Manager

• Lead and manage all excavation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they meet quality standards, safety regulations, and client expectations.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to expand business opportunities, increase market share, and enhance service offerings.
• Oversee daily operations, including resource allocation, scheduling, budgeting, and procurement to optimize efficiency and profitability.
• Supervise project managers and field teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations to foster a high-performing workforce.
• Drive process improvements by analyzing workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing innovative solutions for operational excellence.
• Cultivate new client relationships through proactive sales efforts and maintain existing accounts by delivering exceptional service.
• Monitor financial performance by managing profit & loss statements, controlling costs, and ensuring projects stay within budget.

• Proven management experience within the excavation or construction industry with a strong track record of supervising teams and projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, business development, and sales to grow company revenue.
• Solid understanding of project management principles, safety standards, and regulatory compliance in construction environments.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work culture.
• Experience with process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency and reducing costs.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing profit & loss statements and budgeting processes.
