Supervise and coordinate work of the Road and Bridge Department Shop. Supervise all shop employees to ensure completed work meets set standards. Develop maintenance and repair schedules for county vehicles and equipment. Ensure that all county vehicles and equipment are properly repaired and maintained. Make technical and/or difficult daily operating decisions. Prepare and maintain all department records and reports. Perform mechanic’s duties when necessary.
Perform other tasks as required.
- Must have current driver’s license
- Must pass physical and drug screen
- BC/BS insurance (County pays for single coverage and 76% of family monthly premium), effective on date of hire.
- State Retirement effective on date of hire.
- Fourteen paid holidays per year
- Sick & annual vacation time is accrued from date of hire.
