Mig Welder

Personnel Resources has multiple opportunities for experienced Welders in the Wiregrass area. The ideal candidates will possess strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various welding techniques and equipment. As a Welder, you will play a crucial role in fabricating and assembling metal structures, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Pay will range between $17.00 - $21.00 per hour and you will be working Monday-Friday 6am-4pm schedule.

• Perform welding operations using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols to determine project specifications.
• Set up and operate welding equipment including but not limited to welders, torches, and plasma cutters.
• Operate forklifts and cranes to move materials and equipment as needed.
• Perform basic machining tasks such as drilling, grinding, and cutting.

• Proficient in various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, tac, stick, and stacked welding.
• Familiarity with codes and standards related to welding processes.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
• Experience operating hand tools, power tools, forklifts, cranes, and other equipment used in the welding process.
• Ability to solder and perform basic machining tasks.
• Ability to operate a crane is preferred.
