Description
Earn $22.50/hr with 1 dollar shift differential in our climate-controlled Factory in Waunakee, WI.
We're looking for team members to join our fun, collaborative, rewarding, innovative, and people centric team. Renew Aire teammates positively impact both the people and the planet, by assembling large Energy Recovery Ventilation units (ERVs) for hospitals, schools, and other commercial buildings, that deliver fresh air efficiently.
Each day offers variety and a sense of accomplishment as you assemble millions of configurations from start to finish with teammates in your assembly production cell. You will read schematics to assemble sheet metal walls, roofs and doors, install dampers and electrical wiring and controls.

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 Years relevant manufacturing experience or equivalent
- Basic math skills, including fractions and measurements
- Familiarity with portable power tools (drill, rivet gun, etc.) and machine tools (bandsaw, chop saw, etc.)
- The ability to frequently lift up 30 pounds and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Clear communicators both written and spoken
- Ambitious, detail-oriented, and focused on teamwork
- Give and receive constructive feedback with a positive, solution-minded attitude
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. Fine motor skills are required for a variety of functions, especially for wiring components and performing detailed assembly tasks. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
For items over 50 lbs., an assisted device or help from a coworker is used. A variety of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required depending on the role and specific tasks, and is subject to change based on safety needs. Renew Aire prioritizes physical safety for all employees and maintains a safety-first work environment. Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Must be able to understand issues, problems, and opportunities and make timely, sound decisions. Take responsibility for decisions and understand the impact and implications of decisions and provide feedback as necessary. Communicate with other employees and customers, perform an assortment of administrative tasks, and have personal management skills. Possess advanced customer service skills, the ability to develop professional relationships with customers and employees.
Demonstrate attention to detail and exert high effort and focus on very busy days. Must be able to make sound decisions and remain calm under high pressure situations. Must continually identify personal knowledge and perspective gaps and self-educate.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving subassembly parts and fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to the risk of electrical shock. Work is performed in a temperature-controlled environment designed for employee comfort and safety. The facility is equipped with noise control measures, resulting in minimal distractions and a steady work atmosphere.
