CNC Brake Press Operator

CNC BRAKE PRESS OPERATOR

Cummings Resources creates exterior and interior sign products and branding elements for the world's most iconic companies. The Press Brake Operator will use a press brake to bend, shape, cut, and manipulate sheet metal and metal plates.

• Operate a press brake to manufacture products from sheet metal or metal plates.
• Prepare, set up, and adjust the press brake as required by product plans and production schedules.
• Ensure sufficient raw materials are available.
• Measure and align materials to be used.
• Inspect finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and specifications.

• Ability to safely and effectively operate or learn to operate press brake controls.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow product plans.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

High school diploma or GED and one year of experience in metal fabrication or related work preferred.

• Physically able to operate the press brake.
• Prolonged periods of standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying materials.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
